Wake Up Call~

People said I’ve changed soooo much.

Well, here’s the honest truth: I grew up. I stopped letting people push me around. I learned that you can’t always be happy, and that falling down is what teaches you how to get back up again. I’ve learned to take a deep breath, close my eyes, and tell myself that everything’s going to be okay; because it will. I learned to accept reality because sometimes you feel like you’re on top of the world and that nothing will ever be able to bring you down, and sometimes, you just can’t find the courage in yourself to get up in the morning, and put on someone else’s smile. I realized that this makes me normal, and I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of pretending to be someone I'm not.

So yeah. I’ve changed, but sometimes you’ve just gotta be a bitch in order to get things done.

Damn, I Wish I Went Trick-Or-Treating...

So today I woke up and thought "OH SHIT. I haven't posted in forever. AGAIN."
Thus explains why I am posting now. :]

I realized I haven't finished posting about my Outdoor Ed trip, but to tell you the truth, I don't remember it that well anymore. I'm just waiting to get my journal back so I get a general idea of what I was doing, so until then, it's back to posting about my everyday not so average life.
So Friday was a Dress Up Day at my school, and unlike some other schools, we have random Dress Up Days throughout the year. We were supposed to dress up in our Halloween costumes to show "school spirit". What dressing up as random messed up characters have to do with school spirit, I'm not quite sure.

I was originally going to dress up as Waldo, but sadly I could not find the red and white sweater and decided against it last-minute. This meant I ended up going to school in my regular clothes, and by regular I mean a shirt that says "BITE ME" with grinning evil little gingerbread men (no vampires), jeans, and converse. Apparently that wasn't good enough for some of my teachers because throughout the day all I heard was "Cathy. Where's your costume? I'm disappointed. I thought you of all people had school spirit".

AND THAT'S WHERE THEY'RE WRONG. (Just slightly though).

I do have spirit, it just doesn't necessarily include school spirit, but I did get pretty annoyed at teachers lecturing me about how I should have dressed up because high school would be the best four years of my life blah blah blah... So in order to get the teachers off my back, I grabbed a blank sheet of paper, with a hot pink sharpie I wrote "NUDIST ON STRIKE", and taped it to my back. Now I'm not sure about what the teachers thought, but I think I had a pretty damn awesome costume.

Of course my costume couldn't even start to compare to the person dressed as a pop tart and the people with forks that chased after them down the hall screaming "COME BACK! WE SWEAR YOU WON'T EVEN NOTICE THAT YOU'RE BEING EATEN!" But seriously, despite all the shitty stuff that happens to me at school, stuff like this makes up for it.

Yesterday was Halloween! My friends and I decided to crash on the couch and watch Mirrors while eating foods you wouldn't usually eat while watching horror/thriller movies like ice cream, apple pie, and messed up sushi and heart-shaped rice balls that we made earlier that day. Let's just say by the end of the movie, all the food I was eating was thrown all over the floor, I was hiding under a blanket on the couch, and I still refuse to look into anything reflective (just in case).

What kept me up at night though was because of all the mirrors in my room. Whenever I'm in bed and I look to my left, I see my vanity, my right, my window, and down my closet (my closet doors are mirrors). Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep, so in order to keep myself awake, I'm on a sugar high because of all the Halloween candy I'm stealing from my little brother, Terence. I'm probably going to get fat from eating all of this, but oh well. More of me to love, right?

Your 5:
1. I have made a mini collage of photos on my vanity in order to cover up the mirror, because the movie seriously freaked me out.
2. I find those really mean, messed up rumors about me funny. Like seriously, who'd be stupid enough to believe crap like that?
3. When I'm scared, I'll laugh (it makes me less nervous). So during all of the scary parts of Mirror, I laughed, really hard.
4. Remember how I said I was a spirit for my school's drama production: The Tempest? Well I'm also a Spice Girl. That's right a Spice Girl. I'm "Posh" (Victoria Beckham). Since when did Shakespear make the people dress up as the Spice Girls, and dance around people while singing Wannabe? That's right, he didn't. My drama teacher did.
5. I'm currently living the single life. That's right! I'm single! Michael and I broke up! Shocker... Time to get over it. Because I certainly did.

(No offence to him of course. He's not a bad person, I'm just sooo over the constant fighting.)

Well...maybe just a little, because he is being an ass.

Hey guys, I dropped a piece of cucumber. Anyone want it?

Day 1 (At camp)
September 18, 2009.
4:29 pm

I've been in the cabin for all of 10 minutes, and my clothes are already spew all over the floor.

Acutally, I was looking for my hairbrush, and I couldn't find it; so I decided it would be a good idea to throw everything out of my suitcase in order to be able to obtain nice, detangled hair. Why I didn't think of asking someone else for a hairbrush, I'll never know. I did find it though. It was hidden inside a shirt I threw out of my suitcase, that just so happened to smack my bunk mate (I got top bunk) in the face. So now I have semi detangled hair (I gave up half way), and one slightly pissed off bunk mate.
funnnn.

5:15 pm

I've never had diner this early before. Pass the salt, please.

7:06 pm

Remember those trust exercises you always see on TV where the person falls back, and you have to catch them? Yeah, we had to do those. And guess what? I dropped my partner (by accident of course.) Whoops. Trust lost. He trusted me to take a step back, so he would fall farther down; too bad my short, stubby arms and legs couldn't catch him fast enough. He did get a soft pillow to land on though. Me.

I'll never understand why he agreed to be friends with me though after that.

10:23 pm

We had a night hike! That's right. We wandered about 200 meters into the forest in the middle of the night in 'can't even see the hand in your face' darkness, sat down in the mud as it seeped through 3 layers of pants, and listened quietly trying to identify the hoot of some sort of owl. After a couple of minutes of uncomfortable wetness, I heard one miserable hoot before someone screamed something intelligible into the walky talky and the hoot was silenced. We then walked out of the forest, my good mood destroyed because of one disoriented person using a walky talky.

That was before I looked up and saw a map of billions of stars looking down upon me; which instantly lifted my spirits, despite the damp feeling of my pants rubbing against me, the freezing cold wind, and annoyingly loud people with no previous knowledge on how to use a walky talky.

One good thing about being in the country side, is that you get to see all the stars, unlike Toronto where every single star is hidden behind a blanket of light pollution grossness. But seriously, you would not believe how beautiful the skies were. If I were a really good writer, I'd think I'd be able to tell you, but I'm not. So you're just going to have to trust me on this.

My highlight of this day? The night sky was so unpolluted I got to see Jupiter. That's right. I got to see a planet. And although I didn't get to see the rings around it, it was still pretty damn cool anyway.

11:02 pm

Midnight snacks? I'm not sure what it was, but we got to eat chocolate chip cookies. And not the kind that you buy in stores. It was home made and made with pastry flour, instead of all purpose or cake flour (you can tell because it's finer).

Is it sad that I know this or what?

Anyway, I think I'll go to sleep now before I wake up at 6:30 because of an annoying alarm that I cannot turn off. I'd rather get as much sleep as possible, but knowing whose sleeping in this cabin with me, I think I'll be doing a lot more talking than sleeping tonight.

While I'm Gone...

Okay, so I'm leaving tomorrow for my Outdoor Ed. trip so I won't be able to post for an entire week! D: but don't worry I'll bring my Book of Thought, where I write every tiny thought, story, fantasy, and poem in so you'll be totally informed about my misadventures in the outdoors for 7 days. :]

I decided that I'm going to let Mr. Writer's Block to stay in my apartment while I'm gone. Partly because in order to kick him out I have to find the jerk, and he's hiding somewhere; I can hear his mocking laughter everywhere I go. But also because if he stays at my house, he won't be able to follow me on my trip. Apearantly he got into a fight with his girlfriend, Inkling, and needs a place to crash until they make up, and she drags his ass as far away from me as physically possible. I just hope they either make up soon, or he hates the outdoors.

To make it up to you guys, here's a half hearted, unfinished poem that I wrote in photography class (because I was bored and not interested in listening to my teacher ramble about how she decided to shave off all her hair once when she was in her twenties, and realized afterward that it wasn't a very good idea):

I tried to make you laugh,
but you left me in the rain.
I tried to make you happy,
but that just caused me more pain.
I tried to make you smile,
but that left my heart in pieces.
I tried to make you see,
but now I realized that you're never going to see "me".

He's Here. Again.

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen! Today I am going to give you a tour of my mind:

____________________________________________________

That's right. It's blank. Again. My dear friend, Writer's Block, has decided to pay me another visit. I know because I can hear his car pulling up in the drive way. I locked all my doors, but I must have left a window open because I can hear his menacing laugh coming from the kitchen.

Damn. I forgot about those.

Flying Free~

You were always the controlling one; she was the proof.
Her body was a portrait of blacks and blues.
She was too scared to run, too scared to hide.
She'd curl into a ball, silencing her screams, too scared for more.
But tonight, you went too far. With the final blow to her heart, her silent screams were no more.
Her body drowned in her lake of blood, as you called her name in your death grip hug.
You apologized for being the man she couldn't bare, but from the small smile on her face, it seems she doesn't care.
From now on, she can just be; because tonight, you set her

free.

7 Things~

7 Things I Love About You:

  1. I love your smile.
  2. I love your laugh.
  3. I love your sense of humor.
  4. I love how you actually listen to my rants.
  5. I love how your eyes light up whenever you see me.
  6. I love how you still wear the cologne I bought for you last Christmas.
  7. I love how you pinned the poem I wrote to you onto your bedroom wall.
Things You Love About Me:
  1. I'm always there for you no matter what.
  2. I don't complain about her. (out loud).

Disclaimer: This is not a true depiction of my love life. :]

It's That Time Again

Welcome to my blog. :]

For those who have been patient enough to put up with my constant blabbing, welcome. For those who stumbled upon this in a moment of boredom and desperation, hello.

I realized today that I haven't posted since school started, and that is so not right. So in a sad attempt to gain your forgiveness, I have written you guys a little story(?), I suppose. It's unbelievably short, but hey, so is my attention span.

You took my hand in yours, with trembling fingers, and a shaky heart. Your mouth told me you loved me, but your eyes said nothing, but trouble. You were long past listening to reason, or your fears; too lost to notice your taking a one way street to a meltdown, and it wasn't pretty. But I've broken so many hearts before, so don't worry babe; this won't hurt a bit.

Okay. I lied.

You're weekly 5:
1. I got forced to take female fitness by my guidance counselor saying it was an easy university credit. I had my first class today. I had to do a 4 km run. Easy my ass.
2. I made it into my school's play. (it's nerdish, I know, but I love acting) It's a Shakespare play, The Tempest. And I my friend, am a spirit. That's right. I play a dead spirit, but hey, it's still pretty damn cool.
3. I decided to take Outdoor Education this year for a 9th credit. We leave this Friday on a 7 day 6 night trip. Wish me luck! (and of course I apologize for not being able to post, but I'll make it up to you as soon as I get back to civilization and my computer).
4. It's Picture Day tomorrow at school, and I hate Picture Day. Mainly because I look bad in pictures, but no one knows that cause I photoshop all my pics before uploading them. (It's vain. I know. That doesn't stop me from doing it though).
5. I like big words. They make me feel smart.

Guys Should Have Periods Too~

I'm in a really bad mood right now.

Maybe it's because I had a really bad day, but to tell you the truth I think it's because I'm internally bleeding rivers of blood. I don't understand the whole females need to go through the pain of spewing out blood down there every month, while guys just pretend they're not totally disgusted by the whole thing.

Maybe it's the punishment all females are sentenced to since Eve ate that apple off that tree in the Garden of Eden. But seriously, Adam ate one of the friggin apples too, so I think guys should bleed internally every month too.

But that's just my opinion.

There's A Whole New Meaning To OHMIGAWD~

Alright so I'm going to skip the intro and just start ranting. I have do not have words enough words to describe what I have discovered today on the Internet. Whoever decided to create this product could be sued for corrupting minors (and I'm serious. People can get sued for corrupting minors. That's pretty messed up).

You're probably wondering what could possibly freak me out. Well, lemme be the one to corrupt your innocent minds, and introduce you to the 'OHMIBOD'. That's right. The 'OHMIBOD'. What does this contraption do? Well, it's an Ipod, but at the same time it's a vibrator. It plays music like any other Ipod while you, um...use the vibrator part of it.

There are two holes in the Ipod. One is for the headphones, while the other one is for the vibrator. Apparently it vibrates differently to each song.

Now you're probably thinking, "Why would anyone invent such a thing", and "Why on Earth were you looking up things like that?"

I can't answer the first question for you, but as for the second one, it was totally involuntary. I was randomly googling things in hopes of finding inspiration for my next blog post. As much as that was awkward, it did give me something to write about...

So in case you don't believe such a thing as the 'OHMIBOD' exists. Well wake up and smell the really bad coffee my dad makes, cause it does. To prove my point, I'm gonna show you the picture I found on google; but I'm gonna warn you now, I'm taking no responsibility for how you react for when you click on this link.

OMG. So today's the first day of school, and it already sucks; although my schedule doesn't seem that bad, but of course we wouldn't know that for sure until I know whose in my classes. I do believe I made a really bad impression on my home room teacher though, because I showed up 20 minutes late (it wasn't my fault. I swear. I just missed the bus). To make it worse, it was the only class I had that day, and it started at 1pm.

So here's my schedule:

Day 1:
Period 1: Peer Tutoring (it's like co-op, but mushed together to fit into one period).
Period 2: English. (I love English. Enough said).
Lunch
Period 3: Photography? (I don't really know how to decipher the complicated course codes. Sorry).
Period 4: Math (I hate math, but I love the teacher, so it evens out).

Day 2:
Period 1: I.A.P.S. (which is basically physiology in it's most basic form).
Period 2: Applied Biology (that's right I took applied biology. Not very Asian of me eh? I just needed a group 3 credit and my mom didn't think it was very feminine of me to take auto).
Lunch
Period 3: Female Fitness (Don't ask. I was forced into taking this. Yoga isn't exactly my ideal form of exercise, but I was running out of courses to take).
Period 4: Drama (Drama makes the world go round. If you don't agree, than you can just suck it).

I just thought I'd share that with you today. :]

Your weekly 5:
1. I love being the reason for a smile on some one's face.
2. I'm deathly afraid of the dark.
3. I'm dirt poor at the moment. I'd get a job, but no one seems to be hiring now. So for the time being, I'm just gonna go wait for money to rain from the sky. It can happen, I saw it on Big Brother.
4. I hate it when people write about my opinion. Honestly, get your own things to right about. I don't care if I said whatever to you. You don't fucking ever write about the stuff I say while we're "talking". If you don't agree, fine; but you don't ever put it somewhere where everyone can read it. When people do that, I lose all respect for them because that just means that they don't respect me enough to ask if I were okay with what they were writing about.
5. I also hate people who take the stuff I write and claim it as their own. It pisses me off like you wouldn't believe. So just trust me, and don't do it. Because if you value your life, you wouldn't be putting yourself through that. Ever.

The Sad Truth~

My foot hurts.

Why? Because I stepped on a swiss knife. That's right. You read right. A friggin swiss knife. What it was doing on the ground, I'll never know.

That Box Thing Over There...What's It Called Again? Oh Right...Writer's Block.

I'm back! I was thinking about giving up again on this whole blog thing, but some things never change. Besides, I just couldn't stay away.

So during my absence, I realized something: Writer's Block shall forever suck.

Your weekly 5:
1. I am obsessed with Gaspard Ulliel, a french actor. Truthfully, I think it's more of a hormonal thing because I'll admit that I would jump him the first chance I got; in front of his girlfriend, fans, and all. Which would be really bad because I'll probably be killed by screaming fan girls, along with his not so pretty girlfriend, and although my parents aren't Christian, they'd still discourage premarital sex.
2. I'm craving M&Ms. They are the gods of chocolate. Along with all white chocolates and Dove's dark chocolate.
3. I hate those who wear jeans too short for them. Those with jeans too long, I can relate to. It's not their fault they're short.
4. I find hair teased up to Jesus revolting. They need to be introduced to my wonderful friend: straightening serum.
5. I don't like chocolate chip cookies, unless they're made out of real dark chocolate chip chunks, but honestly, I'd still prefer white chunk or peanut butter ones instead.

Monday, August 24, 2009

Hey guys! So I've decided that I'm not going to be posting everyday. I'd say you probably noticed, but honestly, no body's reading this blog so it wouldn't matter anyway.

It's not that I don't enjoy writing for you faithful nonexistent readers, it's just that I hate the thought of having to post everyday. I hate deadlines. It's higher on my hit list than eating baby cows alive. (I'm a vegetarian. Besides the thought of eating live animals does not seem appetizing).

Okay. I lied. My current life right now just isn't very...eventful. So I've been pretty mellow these past few days. It's pretty weird. It's like I'm not feeling anything at all, just staring out to space in hopes of finding direction. My day consists of waking up, getting through the daylight hours, and repeating.

Sounds peaceful right? It's not. Try going through everyday when you have insomnia. I've been getting no more than four to five hours of sleep each night. It's getting worse too. Why last night I probably had a wondrous 30 full minutes of sleep.

This morning my mom thought it would be a good idea to wake me up at the inhuman time of 11:37 am after I had finally fallen asleep and decided it was a good idea to go out to eat brunch together. After heavy debate on my behalf, she dragged me from my warm, comfy bed and into the car to this asian resturant across the street from my school.

Now I'm sitting down at the table, sipping immense amounts of tea hoping it would help wake me up, but my eyelids refused to cooperate and only fluttered open when using some serious effort. I decided to look around the resturant as a way to distract myself and deny me the oppertunity to fall asleep and have my face land in my cup of tea.

Instead, I find myself finding a creeper pedo science teacher who prays on innocent chinese girls and my civics teacher who I would gladly run over with a truck. And as luck would have it, 7 cups of tea for some magical unknown reason I suddenly had to pee and their table just happened to be right infront of the washrooms.

So maybe using my newly attained purse, that I already ruined, to shield my face wasn't a good idea, because that seems to attract attention to oneself. It seemed like all the teachers I despise, and the abnormally principle decided to have a little get together to plan all the nasty things they were going to do to me once the school year starts. Anyway they noticed me hiding and gestured for me to join them. Me being the brilliant person I am, scream "NO! I, UH, GOTTA PEE! BYE!" and run into the washroom. After that, I kind of just tried not to do or say anything to attract any attention to myself.

Your (newly pronounced) weekly 5:
1. I don't like lobster and or crab.
2. Any hair on the human body that isn't on the head and or face area grosses me out like you wouldn't believe.
3. I will only drink aquafina bottled water and flavoured water.
4. I hate coke, but I like pepsi.
5. I don't really like roses. I don't hate them. I just don't love them. My favourite 3 flowers are: the daisies, water lilies, and pink tiger lilies.

Ciao.

I'm A Bad Bad Person.

I love you.

It's a poor excuse for what I've done to you, but It's all I've got.
I'm sorry.

Where'd My Dork In Tin Foil Go?

Hey guys! I'm sorry that I haven't written in like a thousand years, but things came up.

Okay. I lied, but only partly. I was busy. I was in the hospital for two days in fact, but that was then and this is now. I couldn't find anything remotely interesting to write about. Perhaps this is what they call "Writer's Block"?

But alas, I am back with new inspiration!

So after I got my braces tightened, I had to take the bus home; for some reason against the laws of physics it started hailing. Yes hailing, while it was like 30 degrees out and while the sun was beating down upon the earth. So in hopes of taking shelter, I ran to Pacific Mall, which just happened to be across the street.

Michael being the amazing person he is, met me there and we ordered some cheap Vietnamese take out we'd never heard of.

When all of a sudden this couple walks by and the girl just happens to wearing a micro mini skirt 3 sizes too small, leopard print heels and a transparent white tee that seemed to be restraining her oxygen intake. So Michael does this double take and watches as the girl walks by.

I, of course, being the jealous and offended person I was, smacked his arm and told him the horror stories of what would happen to him if he ever looked at someone as desperate as she was to recapture her youth again (cause I'm not gonna lie, she wasn't young anymore and gravity hasn't been kind to certain parts of her body).

Michael looked at me, his eyes part outraged and part offended, but his face was yet again twisted into that cute little question mark; I could feel my face twist into a question mark.

Had I assumed wrong?

Yes. Yes I did. Because as soon as I hit him, Michael turned to look at me and said "What? I was just looking at that guy's jeans. They're really nice. I wonder where he got them."

That's right people, Michael wasn't looking at the desperately skanky woman. He was looking at the man.

I'm not quite sure which scenario bothers me more: whether he was watching the woman, who which gravity nor the other powers of the Earth were very kind to, or whether he was watching the man, or to be more specific his butt swaying in really nice jeans as he walked.

I learned something that day. Michael isn't perfect. But when I think about it, neither am I. My knight in shining armour turned out to be some dork in tin foil. You know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe we're not the perfect couple. Perhaps we're pretty odd. As long as he's willing to be imperfect with me, that's my definition of being perfect.

You're (not so) Daily 5:
1. I once jumped out of a second story window as a dare in 7th grade. I was drunk at the time and I loved the feeling of not knowing where my skin ended, and where the night began.
2. I once drove my daddy's boat when we went fishing, but with supervision from my dad.
3. My pet hamster died on Christmas Eve when I was in 8th grade.
4. I saw someone get stabbed in a Footlocker, while I was trying on these awesome pair of converse.
5. Shopping is my passion. If it were a sport, I would be holding the equivalent of Stanley Cup in my arms. Right now.

Ciao.

DADDY! THERE'S A HOLE IN THE WALL!

I'll never again complain about men punching walls. There is now a major dent in the living room wall. Of course I blame my teenage hormones, and of course my wonderful dad will fix the wall. No questions asked. As long as no one finds out I punched it, then I'm good.
My brother just commented on the What A Girl Wants movie I'm watching. Something about how American girls don't eat their cereal with milk. I'm pretty sure he's had too much sugar today because he seems to be pretty into mocking every form of entertainment. Something about how porn is only for the old and lonely. That's my cue to leave. ciao.
You're Daily 5:
1. I box, so I punch hard.
2. I want a tattoo of angel wings on my back.
3. When I was little I rode a horse for about an hour. An hour later, I remembered I'm allergic to horse hair when I blew up like a balloon.
4. I got a crystal necklace from my aunt when I was in 5th grade, and lost it in class the next day.
5. Back in grade 7, when I was a nerd, I went to a 7 day 6 night sleep away band camp. That's right. Band camp. I played the flute.

Taxi!

TAXI! Get me out of here! I'm PMSing!

I've been in the most terrible mood today. You'd think that I'd feel bad for the people I snapped at today, but I'm not. Not yet anyway. My conscious seems to be taking an extended vacation at the moment. But right now I'm internally bleeding rivers, so I'll deal with that later.

So I'm eating the surprisingly good PMS mints Michael, yes that's right PMS mints, bought me yesterday. I'm not really in the mood to share my unpredictable mood swings with you, so I'll blog about my life later. I'll make it up to you later. :]

Your Daily 5:
1. I can't stand the sound of someone chewing gum.
2. My favourite fast food places are Starbucks and Tim Horton's.
3. I like vegetarian pizza.
4. I've always wanted to go sky diving, although I'm scared of heights.
5. I'm still scared of the dark. I always get this feeling that some one's hiding somewhere in a dark corner.

Ciao.

Where Can I Get One Of Those?

Notice the coffee cup? That's cause it's time to wake up and smell that espresso coffee we all love! That and it's time to realize that terrible things happen to good people, or at least people with really nice cars.

So I was on my way to the movie theatre to watch The Ugly Truth with Michael, on the way there I saw the most amazingly hot black BMW (I know it was a BMW because I got Michael to teach me the difference between Hondas and BMWs a few weeks ago). And I thought "That's the nicest car I've ever seen. It looks new too."

And then as if god intended to deliver karma to undeserving, I saw the most blood curling, coolest thing I ever saw. The BMW got hit by a speeding red car with such force that the black BMW bend inward on itself until you could no longer see the front window, while as the red car's paint wasn't even puckered (Perhaps it was a Mercedes Guardian? I hear they're virtually indestructible. With 4000 pounds of body armour and missile proof glass. You can run a tank over that baby and I'd still be in perfect condition. Okay so I got that part out of Breaking Dawn, but that doesn't make it any less true). Hm...where can I get one of those?

Anyway, after the huge collision the drive came out of the BMW and starting screaming words you usually don't hear from except by truck drivers. So apparently the guy bought his brand spanking new BMW 2 weeks ago and still has however many payments it takes to pay for a car like that. It couldn't have been that great if that car went through a crash that big without the airbags coming out. He should have been happen to have survived. He should have to pay. He made me late for my date. D:

Well since today's picture theme is coffee, I thought I'd tell you a story about food, and cooking. I've met a lot of bad cooks, but this one guy was the worst.

So I was at Michael's house, it was his birthday. Then I see one of the people who rented his house standing in the kitchen in a holey tee shirt and what seemed like really worn out shorts, or old boxers three sizes too big. He held a large pan in one hand and a box of pizza in the other.

I thought that he was cooking two different entrees at the same time. He thought differently. He put the pan down and then proceeded to dump excessive amounts of veg table oil in the pan. After the oil began to simmer he put the box on top of the pan, but the box of frozen pizza was too big to fit into the pan, so it just sat there, the turned edges holding the box out of the oil.

So like any other girl, I ducked into Michael's room before he could even think of offering us some pizza. I'd rather save myself from the food poisoning. :]

Your Daily 5:
1. I take my coffee with 2 creams and 4 sugars.
2. I don't like pears. In any shape or form. They're disgusting.
3. I know it sounds disgusting, but I like green tea ice cream.
4. I'm terrified of hospitals/needles or anything along those lines.
5. I got suspended in kindergarten for god knows what for an entire week.

Now That's A No No.

Hi. I'm back! The CIA/FBI people never came after me, but maybe that's just because they know where I live and that I would never spend so much money just to go to the U.S. to blow up some ex president.

This morning I tripped walking up the stairs to my room and scraped my knee and foot (again). Making the existing cut on my foot bigger. Thinking nothing of it, I continued to walk to my room. By the time I got there, I looked down and realized there was a small pool of blood coming from my foot. I put on a band-aid on and walked out of my room, only to realize that I had left a long dotted trail of blood.

Knowing that my mom would freak out if she found out that I bled all over her new carpet, I grabbed a sponge, some soap, and a tiny bucket of water and began scrubbing the carpet on all fours, praying that my mom didn't plan on coming out of her room anytime soon.

When I finished there was a distinct soap scent that filled the hall. In a desperate attempt to hide said soapy smell I ran to the storage closet, grabbed ferbreeze and airwick and began running up and down the stairs while spraying.

Of course my mom just had to walk out while I was frantically running up and down the stairs spraying everything in sight. She just shook her head and walked away. At least I didn't get in trouble right?

So I went out with my mom today to the library. Sounds bad. I know. It wasn't.

When I was about to walk down the stairs I tripped (on the carpet perhaps?) and rolled down the stairs. Sounds bad. I know. It wasn't. But then my dress flew up and 20 innocent bystanders were then finding themselves looking at my undies. Now that's a no no.

I'd tell you more about my embarrassing moment, but I'd rather not corrupt the innocent reader's minds.

Your daily 5:
1. I didn't find out I had a middle name til I was in 6th grade. My parents never told me.
2. My uncle named me because my dad decided to go hang out with his friends instead.
3. I've shot a gun before. I was suppose to shoot a target, but I missed and I'm pretty sure that the bullet hit a bird...Poor birdie...D:
4. I'm a veggie person. I don't like killing animals.
5. I resort to violence though I try not to. One time in 9th grade, some really short asian kid jumped out and tried to mug my best friend and I. I punched him in the face, and my best friend kicked him where it hurts. Then we walked away. He threatened us with a Swiss knife. :\

It's That Time Again!

It's that time of day again! The time where I blog and hopefully at least one person reads and comments! :]

Ever had one of nights where you toss and turn, and never get any sleep? Yea that's me. Every night. What do I do? I call reinforcements. By reinforcements I mean I call Michael at 3 in the morning so he can suffer the same fate that I do. What do we talk about so early in the morning you ask? Well, we had a heated argument about what whales sound like when they sing for a good half hour. Here's a summary of what happened:

Michael's Point of View:

If a whale's gonna sing than it sings when it shoots water out of it's blowhole! So obviously it'd sound like water such as "whooooshhhhh" or "shhhhhhhhh" or "splat".

My Point of View:

If a whale's gonna sing, it's not gonna sound like pee. That's not attractive and there's no way they'd do that as a mating call. It'd sound more like "hmmmmmmm" (hummed in a way that sounds like a question) or something else along those lines. At least it doesn't sound like someone taking a number 1.

All of a sudden I remember the only thing I learned in civics class. Wire tapping. It's where creepers with no lives will buy a $200 device so that they can tap into your phone conversations without you knowing. Now there's no law in Canada banning such devices because there are already hundreds of thousands of people with said device in Canada alone. No point in banning it now if people are just gonna listen anyway. So what if some of those hundreds of thousands of people were listening to our conversation? (which they probably are) Then that would mean that possible thousands of people heard me make possible singing whale noises.

Now that is what you call embarassing.

That got me thinking...I wonder if anyone will show up on my doorstep and arrest me if I scream "LET'S GO BLOW UP GEORGE BUSH!" into the phone. I think I'll try that tonight. If I don't post anything tomorrow, you'll know that I've been taken away. You'll help testify in trial for me if it comes to that wouldn't you? :]

Your Daily 5:

1. I am absolutely petrified of thunder. I will wince and hide under tables at the very sound.
2. I have a one dimpled smile. It makes me feel like I wasn't...built properly.
3. Every time I go out to eat, I order the funniest sounding thing on the menu.
4. The sight and smell of bloods scares me, but intrigues me at the same time.
5. I got drunk for the first time when I was 3. It was 11 pm and I came down wanting something to drink before I went back to sleep. My dad and uncles unbelievably drunk and were playing poker. When I asked for something to drink, my uncle told me that there was a glass of apple juice on the kitchen counter. Instead of drinking the apple juice, I downed a glass of beer. Then proceeded to run around the house playing tag with inanimate objects. Now everytime company comes over my dad tells them the story.

Remember: don't say anything on the phone that you wouldn't want people to know about cause there's always someone listening in! ;O

The Battle Plan~

Alright, so I decided that I'm gonna set a goal for myself cause I have absolutely nothing better to do this summer because I'm jobless. I am going to attempt to get 100 hits/posts before the end of the summer, whichever one comes first. That's how bored I am this summer. You promise you'll help right? ;]

Moving on to more interesting topics, I had to cancel a date with Michael today cause my parents came home early. Here's the deal: my parents forbid me to date and or have anything to do with guys in general, until I'm 24 (yea I know. EVERY parents' dream: the puberty and hormones don't kick in until after they kick you out of the house). We all know that's not gonna happen right? (and if you didn't...you do now).

Remember what they say about love at first sight? They say it doesn't exist, but I think it does, not that I ever experienced it before. Anyway more on love and whatnot. I'm gonna tell you guys the story about how I met Michael (of course I'll edit out all the inappropriate details for you...or not).

It was sometime after school in November if I remember correctly. I was walking to my locker when I see this boy in a dark gray hoodie sitting, his legs slightly apart, his elbows resting on his knees, in the corner where the wall and the lockers met. He had his down seemingly focused on whatever it was between his legs, his hands moving around between his legs.

Naturally I was scared, so I slowly walked to my locker trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible, but as far as he was concerned I don't think he even noticed the frightened little girl quietly backing away from him. After retrieving my stuff from my locker, I carefully looked over my shoulder to the boy to see if he was there. He was.

Upset about his very presence bugged me. How could he just sit there touching his...his...lovestick. Clearly that wasn't normal, even for a boy. Not that they're normal to begin with. So I march to him with renewed determination and said "You there! What the hell do you think you're doing?".

He looked up at me. Confusion swept through his eyes. "Excuse me?" he asked. His whole face twisted into a question mark. And that's when I realized that his hands were busy, but only because he was shuffling through his MP3 player.

Smart move Cathy.

And they lived happily ever after. (cool reflection, huh?)

Your Daily 5:
1. I'm blunt. I'm never afraid to speak my mind; regardless of who it might hurt.
2. I got hit by a car when I was 7 and walked away with a scraped knee.
3. I've only been out of the country once, but I'd love to go backpacking around Europe one day though.
4. I've always wondered: If penguins lay eggs, why do they have sex?
5. I tripped twice while walking up the stairs today. They should really find safer methods of transportation from floor to floor for people like me. It's pretty hazardous actually.

Remember: The face looking back in the mirror? They're a lot more capable than you think they are. :]

Tis Me. Again.

Hello again people whom I may not know.

Okay. So maybe I'm not in the best of moods right now. Maybe I can't help it. Maybe the world has some messed up way of misplacing undeserved karma. Or maybe it's that time of month again... Yep. Definitely that time of month again. So watch out world, Cathy might attack. I'm serious. I bite.

But of course all of you lucky readers out there are protected by your computer screens and locked doors (if they're not locked, I suggest you do that now before I take notice). Kidding! I would never do that to you faithful readers out there. At least not the ones I don't know in person. If I do know you personally, than you're not quite as lucky.

You know, I think I'd be in a better mood if I didn't find an empty smarties in the garbage can. Of course, my parents would hide my chocolate from me, but that wouldn't hold them back from eating it. But praise the lord, I found a fudgesicle in my freezer. If not for it, whoever ate my smarties would be missing an arm, or a head. Whichever came first.

Since I'm in a better mood now, wait no. I take it back. I have to see my math tutor tomorrow morning. Which means one of two things. One: I have to wake up early tomorrow morning and I am not a morning person. Two: It's that time of month. So I'm gonna be extra unpleasant to deal with. But all the moodiness aside, my tutor's not a bad person. She's just painfully boring. It's not her fault she can't make math interesting, but I do blame her for making me stay in a small room with screaming kids who refuse to pay attention.

Oh right. My boyfriend, Michael, threw a tiny little fit about me not mentioning him. So I'm here to pronounce his awesomeness to the world. He's probably just scared that some random guy sees my blog and decides to hunt me down sometime later. Kidding! [Don't kill me Michael. xD] Did I mention how adorably cute he is though?

I suppose it's time I stop blogging today. Three entries are good enough for today right? No need to spam the nonexistant dedicated readers any further right? I'll see you guys later (or I'll just read the hit counter).

Night. A word of advice: don't let the boogie man eat you! :]

The Simple Life~

As I sit here, I think back.
Back to when life was simple.
Back to when the only thing I cared about was recess.
Back to when the scariest thing was the moster hiding in my closet.
Back to when my only concern was hoping I would never grow up.
Because the more I think about it,
the more I'm scared of who'll I'll become and how much I'll miss being little.
How I'll miss running downhill with my arms stretched out,
Feeling the wind brush between my fingers.
My hair blown back. Without a single care in the world.

It's Just Me~

Hello people of the world with computers that have internet access.

My name's Cathy. :]

I'm 16 on the outside and 4 1/2 on the inside. I'm told all the time that I should act my age, but I still hug my teddy bears to sleep. So what? That doesn't make me any less of a person.

I'm not quite sure yet, but I think my parents hide all the chocolate I bought yesterday from me cause I bought a box of smarties and they just seemed to have magically disappeared from their original spot on the table (probably to prevent me from having another one of my out of control sugar rushes). Parents. They never learn. They should have known that I would've bought a second box of smarties just in case.

So, more about me. I'm going into my junior year in high school. I plan on going into social working, thought I really wanted to go into writing. I'd tell you that I'm psyched about it going back to school, but I'm not gonna lie to you like that. To tell you the truth, the very thought of me walking down the hall at school for another two long, painful years is almost unbearable. It's not that I don't like school...it's just that my parents hover over me waiting for me to slip up, which by the way happens all the time. So maybe I'm not the smartest girl out there, but I'm trying my best. What more could you ask for?

The (soon to be) daily 5 [things you should know about me]:
1. I'm an extremely clumsy person. I walk into things all the time (ex: walls, polls, parked cars, people...you get the idea.)
2. I like country music.
3. I'm a total facebook addict.
4. When I was six years old I told everybody I knew that one day I would become Miss Universe. (My parents recorded my declaration. They show it to me every once in a while as if to say "you were so cute. What happened?!?")
5. I still have yet to take my G1 test. D:
